TCS was founded on April 1st,1968 by F.C.Kohli and JRD Tata. F.C.Kohli was the first C.E.O of TCS. TCS is subsidary of the Tata Group and operates in 149 locations across 46 ountries. Tata group was founded in 1868 by Jamshetji Tata. The present C.E.O of TCS is "Rajesh Gopinathan". The chairman of T.C.S is "Natarajan Chandrasekharan". The owner of Tata group is "Ratan Tata" . As of February 2021,TCS i the largest IT service company in the world by market capitalisation.
